HUAWEI launched its latest tablet the Huawei MatePad 11.5" S for global markets, at its 'Innovative Product Launch' event in Dubai. The tablet introduces the latest HUAWEI Notes app, featuring Note Replay, Color Change with Lasso, Color Capture, and Instant Shape, along with the GoPaint apps.
Featuring a 2.8K LCD screen with a variable refresh rate ranging from 30 Hz to 144 Hz and a 3:2 aspect ratio, the tablet also boasts a New-generation PaperMatte Display, offering paper-like display effects through nanoscale anti-glare etching technology, which the company claims eliminates 99% of light interference.
With a sleek unibody aluminum finish and a thickness of just 6.2 mm, the tablet operates on HarmonyOS 4.2, incorporates quad speakers, and houses an 8800 mAh battery. While the processor details remain undisclosed, initial impressions from those who have had hands-on experience suggest a processor similar to the Kirin 9000S, albeit with a lower prime core clock speed.
The tablet is compatible with the third-generation M-Pencil stylus, featuring a nanoscale texture design for unique micro-vibration. Additionally, seamless integration with the HUAWEI Smart Magnetic Keyboard is facilitated, offering stable connections and low latency powered by NearLink wireless communications technology.
