The Huawei G9 lite and MediaPad M2 7.0 are now official in China.
The G9 Lite is essentially the P9 Lite but customized for the Chinese market. It comes with the same 5.2-inch 1080p display running on either the Kirin 650 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz or Snapdragon 617 based on the carrier of choice. There's 3GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage available on both variants.
There is a fingerprint sensor at the back of the G9 lite alongwith a 13MP camera, while on the front you get an 8MP camera to take selfies. If you look closely at the specs, it also matches the Honor 5C which was launched last month in China.
Not to forget, the MediaPad M2 also went official in China alongwith the G9 Lite. This time around it comes with a smaller 7-inch display as opposed to the 10.1-inch and 8-inch MediaPad devices sold earlier. There's a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor powering the innards here with 3GB RAM. You also have a 13MP rear camera here with LED flash and a 5MP front-snapper for selfies.
