HTC has just made the Butterfly S official, where the S probably stands for Super due to its features. The Butterfly S comes with a 5-inch Full HD display (1080p) and is powered by a quad-core 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600 chipset which is also found on the Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 alongwith 2GB of RAM to keep things running smoothly.
There's HTC's UltraPixel camera on-board as well, the same as the HTC One with wide F/2.0 aperture and 1.3" BSI Sensor. The Butterfly S runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5 UI on top, which includes HTC Zoe, and Video highlights in Gallery. The phone also packs in a humongous 3200 mAh battery, and comes with all sorts of connectivity options from Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, DLNA to NFC. The Butterfly S will come in read white and gray colors.
The Butterfly S from HTC is expected to launch in Taiwan for NT $22,900 (US $768) in July, but the company is mum of international availability and pricing.
