Hp Elite X3 Leak 1

It seems Windows 10 for Mobile will live in the enterprise. HP Elite X3 has just been outed with complete details on specifications, design and it won't be cheap.

HP's Elite line-up has always been associated with the Enterprise segment, providing efficient and secure devices to professionals. The Elite X3 is supposed to carry forward the same legacy running Windows 10.

Coming to specs, the HP Elite X3 will give the Lumia 950 XL a run for its money. You have a 5.96-inch QHD display, 4GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage running on the newly minted Snapdragon 820 octa-core processor. A USB Type-C port is on offer as well, with support for fast charging and Microsoft Display Dock to enable Continuum support.

The Elite x3 is not shy in the camera department as well, you have a 16MP rear and 8MP selfie camera. The rear camera is capable of recording 4K videos as well. From what we hear, there's a fingerprint sensor onboard as well alongwith support for Qi wireless charging, an Iris scanner, IP67 rating for dust/water resistance alongwith a Mil-Spec rating of MIL-STD-810G, meaning it can withstand drops of upto 1 meter without significant damage.

Now, given these specs the HP Elite x3 is not going to come cheap and would be focusing on the enterprise segment. Given the recent launches from Microsoft, it seems Windows 10 Mobile is moving away from the consumer space and focusing solely on the enterprise. It seems prudent to target professionals with Windows Phone as Microsoft makes great first party apps for all its services.
