Honor is preparing to introduce its Magic6 Ultimate and Magic6 RSR Porsche Design flagships on March 18th. It has been confirmed that the devices will be equipped with a new 1-inch type sensor from OmniVision. The smartphone will come in two color options: Ink Rock Black and Sky Purple, each featuring a leatherette back with stitching details.

The anticipated 50MP OmniVision OV50K sensor is projected to incorporate a variable aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/2.0, alongside exceptional dynamic range capabilities. Honor has shared a teaser poster emphasizing the OV50K sensor's ability to achieve up to 15 Exposure Value (EV), supplemented by LOFIC technology, which promises a remarkable 600% increase in dynamic range capabilities.

The Honor Magic6 Ultimate will offer storage options of 512GB or 1TB. Observing the markings on its redesigned camera bump, it appears to feature identical lenses on the main camera (f/1.4-2.0) and the same 180MP periscope with an f/2.6 lens, enabling up to 100x digital zoom.

The Honor Magic6 Ultimate is poised to be an enhanced iteration of the Magic6 Pro, featuring a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED display (1280x2800px), Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and 16GB of RAM. Additionally, the device is expected to house a 5,600mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging. It will boast identical camera hardware, including a 1/1.49" 180MP f/2.6 telephoto shooter and a 1/2.88" 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide unit.

As an incentive for pre-reservation, you'll receive a complimentary Honor Band 7 (NFC edition) and an exclusive Year of the Dragon limited edition medal from Honor Mall. You'll receive these rewards after completing the purchase process, naturally. Meanwhile, the Magic6 RSR is likely to showcase similar specifications but housed in a more flamboyant shell, designed by Porsche Design.
