HONOR has launched its first foldable flagship smartphone the HONOR Magic V, as they promised. It has a 7.9 inches FHD+ 90Hz OLED foldable inner screen with magnetron nano-optical film with a reflectivity of less than 1.5% and the external screen has a 6.45-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED with drop-resistant curved nano-glass-ceramic, and both use BOE screens.
It runs on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB UFS3.1 storage and is based on Android 12 with Magic UI 6.0. It has a triple rear cameras setup where a 50MP primary camera along with s 50MP ultra-wide, a 50MP ultra spectrum camera that was first introduced in the HUAWEI P50 Pocket, and an 8×8 dTOF laser focus sensor. There is a 42MP punch-hole selfie camera on both the inside and outside.
The company uses a water drop hinge that consists of 213 parts, and it claims to have a lifespan of 200,000 folding times. It comes in the black color with an AG glass, orange color with a leather finish, and the silver thin vertical stripes printed under the glass. It is powered by a 4,750mAh battery that supports 66W wired fast charging.
