Huawei has launched a new smartphone here in India, the Honor 9i with four cameras. Just last month, the company had launched the same phone as the Huawei Maimang 6 in China.
The unique selling point of Huawei Honor 9i is its quad cameras; two at the back and two at the front. At the back, you get a 16-megapixel camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera to capture depth information. You also have a dual-tone LED flash for taking pictures in the low light. With the dual camera setup you can adjust focus even after capturing the images.
When it comes to the front, you will have a 13-megapixel camera coupled with a 2-megapixel unit. There is a soft white flash present at the front allows you to have enough lighting to snap selfies in low-lighting conditions.
Honor 9i sports a unibody metal design with a 5.9-inch full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels resolution) display with minimal bezels. Under the hood, the phone packs in an octa-core Kirin 659 processor clocked at 2.39 GHz alongside 4 GB RAM. The 64 GB onboard storage can be expanded up to 256 GB using an external microSD card.
The phone support 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and FM Radio as well. Running on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.1 Nougat, Honor 9i carries a 3340 mAh battery. Fingerprint scanner has become a standard feature on smartphones now and Huawei has placed it just below the dual camera setup on the back.
The Honor 9i has been priced at Rs. 17999 and it will be available in Aurora Blue, Graphite Black, and Prestige Black colors, going on sale on Flipkart exclusively from October 14th.
In the same event, Huawei also unveiled a 10000 mAh quick charge power bank at a price of Rs. 2399.
