Honor 8 has started getting its Android 7.0 Nougat flavored update in the US. The new update also brings EMUI 5.0 skin with changes to the homescreen - which now has an app drawer, notification shade, recent apps and a lot more. Read More: Honor 8 Full Specs and Images
Huawei is now moving away from cloning iOS UX for something similar to stock Android for customers in the US. Then there are some neat additions like Twin apps which allows you to login to the same app with differenct accounts at the same time. While you can switch to the default layout with all apps right on homescreens, I would much prefer the app-drawer option.
Honor 8 EMUI 5.0 update with Nougat is currently rolling out only in the US for model FRD-L04. There is no word when the Indian variant will get the update, which still lacks VoLTE support.
