Google has launched its latest flagship TWS earbuds, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 in the Global Market including India alongside the Pixel 9 series smartphones. These updated earbuds are 24% lighter and 27% smaller than their predecessor. Engineered with insights from 45 million ear scans and real-world wear tests, they feature a twist-to-adjust stabilizer and come with four eartip sizes to ensure a secure and customized fit.
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 are equipped with 11 mm drivers for deep bass and a high-frequency chamber for smooth treble. They offer spatial audio with head tracking for an immersive experience and are powered by Google’s Tensor A1 chip, which enhances audio performance and noise cancellation.
The Tensor A1 chip processes audio with ultra-low latency and adjusts to your environment up to 3 million times per second, delivering Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that is twice as effective as the previous generation, along with Silent Seal 2.0 for improved noise reduction.
These earbuds provide up to 8 hours of use with ANC enabled and up to 30 hours with the charging case. A 15-minute charge adds an additional three hours of battery life. They support USB-C and Qi-certified wireless charging and feature Bluetooth v5.4, LE Audio, and Super Wideband connectivity.
The earbuds have an IP54 rating for sweat and water resistance, while the case is IPX4 rated. The Gemini AI assistant allows for hands-free operation, offering directions, reminders, and music recommendations, with Gemini Live enabling extended conversations even when the phone is locked.
Additional features include -
- A new Find My Device Network with a built-in ringing speaker in the case to help locate misplaced earbuds.
