Google has confirmed the launch of its upcoming smartphones in the Pixel 9 series Globally on August 13th. Now, it has released teaser videos for the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold, showcasing the camera designs and highlighting the AI features of the phones.
Pixel 9 Pro -
As anticipated, the Pixel 9 Pro features a compact camera module with triple rear cameras, a flash, and laser autofocus. Reports suggest it will include three 50MP rear cameras. The Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL are expected to launch with similar camera setups but differ in screen size and battery capacity.
Pixel 9 Pro Fold -
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold has been confirmed as the name for Google's foldable phone, which also features pill-shaped camera cutouts. Previous rumours indicated that the outer screen would have a thinner and narrower aspect ratio.
Although the teaser does not show the inner screen's camera, it is rumoured to have a punch-hole camera positioned on the left side of the screen, replacing the bezel found on the first fold, thanks to a smaller bezel on this model.
The 'Made by Google' launch event is scheduled for August 13, 2024, at 10 am PT (10:30 pm IST). Google will also introduce the Pixel 9 series in India on August 14th. The event will be live-streamed on YouTube and the Google Store website.
