Gionee has launched a new smartphone, the S6 Pro today which comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p display, metal body and fingerprint sensor in tow.
The Gionee S6 Pro runs on the MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755M) processor with Mali-T860 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB of expandable storage. There's Android 6.0 Marshmallow doing most of the work with the company's own Amigo OS 3.2 on top. Coming to the build you have a magnesium alloy body here which means that the 3130 mAh battery is non-removable and you have a hybrid dual-SIM arrangement here which means you can either use two SIM cards or one SIM card and one microSD card slot. Given that you have 64GB storage onboard, you probably won't need a microSD card.
The front is covered in 2.5D curved glass and the fingerprint sensor/home button is present just below the display. Other connectivity options include 4G LTE with VoLTE support, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C port for data syncing/charging.
