Flipkart has officially revealed the dates for its highly anticipated annual sale, The Big Billion Days (TBBD) Sale 2024. The 11th edition of TBBD will begin on September 27, 2024, offering customers across India access to a wide array of products and deals.
Expansion and Job Creation -
To meet the increased demand during the festive season, Flipkart has opened 11 new fulfilment centres (FCs) in nine cities, bringing the total to 83 FCs nationwide. This expansion has resulted in the creation of over 1 lakh new jobs across India, demonstrating Flipkart’s commitment to supporting local communities and boosting employment.
Flipkart also launched the “Big Sale of Small Things” on September 15, giving marketplace sellers a head start on the festive season growth opportunities.

- Video Commerce - Interactive live sessions where brands present exclusive deals.
- Flippi 2.0 - A GenAI-powered chat assistant to answer customer queries like “What’s the best deal for my budget?”
- Immersive Shopping - 3D explainer videos and virtual try-on options for watches will help users make informed decisions.
- Gamified Engagement - Through Flipkart’s FireDrops platform, customers can earn SuperCoins by completing tasks using Flipkart UPI.
Seller Support -
Flipkart is expanding its seller network, offering 20% higher rewards and introducing new growth strategies for sellers. The “Big Sale of Small Things” launched on September 15 is helping sellers tap into the festive season earlier. Additionally, 4,500 sellers have participated in conclaves, and Flipkart Samarth, marking five years, has supported 1.8 million livelihoods and preserved over 100 traditional art forms.
Faster Delivery and Product Assurance -
Flipkart will offer over 2 lakh SKUs for same-day delivery across 20+ cities during the sale, with enhanced logistics and product quality measures to ensure timely deliveries.
Partnerships for Affordability -
Flipkart has teamed up with HDFC Bank to offer 10% discounts on debit and credit cards and EMI transactions. The Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card provides 5% unlimited cashback, while customers can also enjoy No Cost EMIs, Flipkart Pay Later, and cashback on Flipkart UPI transactions.
Exclusive Offers for Plus and VIP Members -
VIP and Plus members can win up to Rs. 10,000 by having their cart value refunded during the early access period. VIP members will also receive exclusive brand offers and extra deals via SuperCoin redemption.
Diverse Product Range and Travel Offers -
Customers can expect great deals on home appliances, electronics, fashion, and beauty products. Flipkart’s travel service, Cleartrip, will offer hotel stays starting at Rs. 2,499 and domestic flights from Rs. 999. Myntra and Flipkart users can save an extra 15% on hotel bookings and get Rs. 1 flight cancellations.
Shopsy and Local Bazaars -
Flipkart’s Shopsy platform will offer access to over 160 million products at competitive prices, with special discounts for first-time users across various categories.
Availability -
The Big Billion Days 2024 will run from September 27 to October 6, 2024, with early access for VIP and Flipkart Plus members starting on September 26, 2024.
