Xiaomi's Black Shark brand has confirmed that will launch its latest gaming smartphone the Black Shark 5 and 5 Pro in the 5 series in China on March 30th, which will be the successor of the Black Shark 4 series that was launched in March last year, and the Black Shark 4S series was introduced in October. The invite poster shows a “Breaking Gravity” tag along with an astronaut and a rocket.
The Black Shark 5 series is expected to feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED 144Hz display and support 120W fast charging with a slightly bigger 4650mAh battery. According to the renders, Black Shark 5 will be run on a Snapdragon 870 processor with up to 12GB of RAM, and the Black Shark 5 Pro will run on the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.
