Another day, another Facebook scam. This time around, the new scam promises WhatsApp for PC, the popular messaging app available on various platforms with over 300 million active monthly users and one none of those platforms is a PC. WhatsApp is only available for mobile platforms like Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Blackberry, Nokia S40 and Symbian.
Therefore, don't click on the link even if your friends have been stupid enough to do so. These scams are just to get your friends list or post on your wall so that it spreads virally. If your friends have already allowed the app permission just tell them to go into their Privacy settings -> Apps and remove the app from the list which you last accessed.
