ASUS has launched its latest flagship 5G gaming smartphone the ASUS ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate edition in the global markets. It has a 6.78-inch Full HD+ OLED HDR display with 165Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch-sampling rate, 10-bit HDR support, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
It runs on the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC compared to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor in the standard ROG Phone 6 that was launched back in July. It comes with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB of storage, and is based on Android 12 with ROG UI & Zen UI depending on the market. The back of the 6D has a ROG (RGB light) logo, while the Ultimate version has a ROG Vision color PMOLED display.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6D Ultimate also has an AeroActive Portal on the back which shows in the image a slotted hinge that opens to offer a better airflow inside the chassis by working in conjunction with the AeroActive Cooler 6 when it is connected, as per the company.
It has a triple rear camera setup where a 50-megapixel primary camera with IMX766 sensor, along with a 13-megapixel 125° ultra-wide camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 12-megapixel front-facing camera with Sony IMX663 sensor. The ROG Phone gets first-time IPX4 ratings for splash resistance, 3.5mm audio jack, and Symmetrical dual front-facing speakers, and it is powered by a dual-cell 6,000mAh battery that supports 65W HyperCharge fast charging.

The ASUS ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate come in single Space Gray color, and comes bundled with the AeroActive Cooler 6. Both will be available soon, but the company didn't reveal the exact date.
