With the aim of providing more options to iPad users, Apple has unveiled a fresh and more cost-effective Apple Pencil (USB-C). This stylus is furnished with precise pixel accuracy, minimal delay, and sensitivity to tilting, making it a versatile instrument for jotting down notes, sketching, adding annotations, journaling, and much more.
The latest Apple Pencil showcases a smooth matte finish and a flat magnetic side, enabling it to easily attach to the iPad's side for storage. It includes a USB-C port for pairing with the iPad and can be charged using a USB-C cable. When affixed magnetically to the iPad for storage, the new Apple Pencil enters a sleep mode to preserve its battery life.
Broadening the choices for the Apple Pencil, this fresh iteration upholds the benchmarks established by its forerunners, delivering advanced pixel precision, minimal latency, and tilt sensitivity. Unlike the Apple Pencil 1st and 2nd Generation, it lacks a pressure sensitivity feature.
The new Apple Pencil is fully compatible with iPadOS functionalities such as Scribble, Quick Note, and collaborative work. For iPad Pro models equipped with M2 processors, the new Apple Pencil introduces hover support, thereby enhancing precision in sketching and illustration.
It supports iPad models equipped with a USB-C port, which encompasses the 10th generation iPad, iPad Pro, iPad Air, and iPad Mini.
