Today, Apple has also launched its new MacBook Pro with its all-new 5nm M1 chip at its ‘One More Thing’ event along with the new MacBook Air. The new 5nm M1 chip is made for Macs which improved battery life, performance, and many more. The new MacBook Pro has a 13.3-inch Retina display with a resolution of 2560×1600, 500 nits brightness, P3 color gamut, and True Tone technology.
It runs on the latest Apple M1 chip that has an 8-core CPU with 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores, 8-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine, and has 8GB of RAM (configurable up to 16GB) and up to 2TB of SSD. According to the company, the 8-core CPU paired with the active cooling system is up to 2.8x faster than the previous generation and the 8-core GPU is up to 5x faster. The ML is now up to 11x faster as compared to the previous generation. It works on the latest macOS Big Sur and this time, the MacBook Pro 13-inch also features Apple’s latest camera ISP that enables sharper images and more detail in shadows and highlights on video calls.
It comes with the Magic Keyboard with the Scissor mechanism and the familiar Touch Bar, and it comes with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 2x Thunderbolt ports with USB 4 support, and a headphone jack. Other new features include studio-quality mics, Secure Enclave in M1 chip, and Touch ID. The battery life on the MacBook Pro 13-inch has improved as compared to the previous generation. It gives up to 17 hours of wireless web browsing and up to 20 hours of video playback which is twice the battery life of the previous generation.

The New MacBook Pro is already available for pre-order from Apple online store and will be available from Apple Authorised Resellers offline and online retailers in India soon. Users can also customize the RAM and storage options on Apple India online store.
