Apple has launched its new iPad Pro-11-inch and 12.9-inch models with the latest M2 chip in the Global Market including India. The new M2 chip gives 15% faster CPU performance and up to 35% faster GPU performance compared to the previous iPad Pro model. The new iPad Pro also features a new Apple Pencil hover experience, and it is the first to support Wi-Fi 6E connectivity.
The iPad Pro 11-inch model has a LED-backlit Liquid Retina display, and the 12.9-inch is the first model to feature a mini-LED Liquid Retina XDR display, the same as the older models. The iPads also have a 5G model, come with Thunderbolt and USB 4 via USB-C port, feature a 12MP Ultra Wide TrueDepth front-facing camera enabling Center Stage, and are based on iPadOS 16 with the new Stage Manager, Desktop-class apps, and more.
According to Apple, the Reference Mode enables the 12.9-inch iPad Pro with Liquid Retina XDR display to match the color requirements in workflows like reviewing and approving color grading, and compositing. With iPadOS 16, Apple Pencil (2nd generation) is now detected up to 12 mm above the display, allowing users to see a preview of their mark before they make it. This also allows users to sketch and illustrate with even greater precision and makes everything users do with Apple Pencil even more effortless, as per Apple.
