Apple had acquired Beats electronics for a whopping $3 Billion back in May. But the deal has now been made official with the European Commission giving its regulatory approval. Both Tim Cook and Dr. Dre tweeted links to the welcome page on Apple and Beats websites.
On Apple's side Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine are credited with creating something beautiful which deepen people's connection with music while on Beats the Macintosh is praised as the instrument of choice for digital music creation. Both Dre and Iovine will be a part of Apple's board of directors.
