Update: Nokia 6 Android smartphone launched in China with Nougat, 4GB RAM
An image of what is being called the packaging of an upcoming Nokia Android smartphone is making rounds on the internet. But one thing that adds a bit of credibility is that the phone on the box does resemble sketches of the Nokia D1 (D1C) smartphone that were leaked earlier.
On the box, the name of the phone is however said to be Nokia 6 strangely. That's not all there are some specs listed on the box, saying that the aluminum metal body smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and has a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels FHD resolution. Powering the smartphone will be an octa-core Snapdragon processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and yes, there's a microSD card slot on the phone as well to expand storage. On the back of the phone is a 16-megapixel camera while there's an 8-megapixel front camera here for selfies and video calls. Another neat addition to the smartphone is the presence of Dolby Atmos for better audio quality.
Now even leaks are increasing in magnitude as we get closer to the MWC 2017 launch of Nokia's Android smartphones. We have already heard that the company plans to release as many as seven Android flavored smartphones by the end of 2016. All in all its going to be one sweet comeback for the once mobile giant, at least that is what we all expect.
