You know a post like this was coming today. With every flash sale we come to hear how fast phones were able to sell and the number of units sold. With Xiaomi starting the flash sale craze, which everyone adopted later, it has become a norm to launch every phone with flash sales even though you may have stock lying in warehouses.

Nevertheless, Lenovo has had quite a success with the flash sale mantra. Its now the largest brand in India in terms of number of 4G devices sold and in the recently concluded Big Billion Days sale on Flipkart, Lenovo and Motorola together sold 600000 units. But that's not what we are talking about now.

The Lenovo Vibe P1m which was launched last week went on its first flash sale today on Flipkart and the company sold 14,000 units in under 10 seconds. That's quite a feat, but expected. The Lenovo Vibe P1m comes with a humongous 3900 mAh battery, 5-inch HD display running on a quad-core MediaTek MT6735p processor with 2GB RAM, 16GB onboard storage and Android 5.1 Lollipop, all this at just Rs. 7999.

Apart from excellent pricing, the timing of the P1m launch in India couldn't be better. Given the festive season many people are looking to buy gifts for their loved one's and phones have now become most popular gifts.

So a humongous battery, good build, 4G LTE support and posibly decent cameras as well do make the Lenovo Vibe P1m quite desirable. Although we have not got a review unit yet, you can have a look at our hands on with the Vibe P1m above. The next sale will be on November 4th at 3PM, registrations are now open on Flipkart.
