Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) has just been listed by a retailer in Russia. The listing shows the phone comes with a 5-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 425 quad-core processor with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB expandable storage.
The phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies along with an LED flash. The design has been refreshed to match the 2017 line-up of Galaxy J series of devices.
The home button is still prominently present in the front, and still, there is no fingerprint sensor here. Flanking it are two capacitive buttons for recent apps and back. All this is packed in a polycarbonate body with a 2600 mAh battery inside.
It supports dual-SIM 4G VoLTE connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and FM Radio. There's no NFC here.
The Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) will come in black and gold color options. It has been listed at 7990 Rubles (Rs. 8900 / US$ 140). In the first launch cycle, the phone is expected to be available in Russia, UAE, South Africa, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and some other markets.
