Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of its latest TWS earbuds, the Redmi Buds 6 in India on December 9th, alongside the Redmi Note 14 series. The Redmi Buds 6 will be the first in its segment to feature dual drivers, offering an enhanced audio experience. It will support 49dB ANC, an upgrade from the 46dB ANC in its predecessor, and will include an LED flow display on the front along with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.
Xiaomi claims up to 42 hours of total playback with the charging case. The earbuds also include AI ENC for clear audio even in windy conditions. A unique remote shutter feature will allow users to control the camera trigger using the earbuds.
From the China launch, it’s known that the earbuds come equipped with 12.4mm titanium diaphragm + 5.5mm micro-piezoelectric ceramic unit drivers, 360° surround sound, dual-device connection, Bluetooth 5.4, and fast charging, providing up to 4 hours of playback with just a 10-minute charge.
The Redmi Buds 6 are expected to be priced around ₹3,000 in India, based on the pricing in China. They will be available on mi.com, Amazon.in, and other online retailers, as well as in offline stores.
