Lenovo K8 Note was launched today in India, the latest entrant the company's "Note" series improves on the camera front and build quality. The Lenovo K8 Note comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD display similar to the K5 and K6 Note.
But the K8 Note takes things further with a deca-core Helio X23 processor running on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat. This is the first smartphone to use MediaTek's new deca-core processor which comprises of two powerful Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.3GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.85 GHz and another four clocked at 1.4 GHz.
There are two variants on offer, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage and another with 4GB RAM / 64GB onboard storage.
Lenovo K8 Note is the first dual-camera smartphone from the company launched in India.
There are two cameras on the back of the Lenovo K8 Note. A 13MP primary camera along with a 5MP camera which is used for depth sensing to get the artificial Bokeh effect.
Lenovo has also added its proprietary TheaterMax VR technology on the K8 Note along with Dolby Atmos support. There is a dedicated Music Key on the left of the phone as well which you can use to control music playback or launch an app of your choice. There are dedicated SIM card slots along with a separate microSD card slot.
All this is powered by a 4000 mAh battery with support for Turbo charging. There is a 15 Watt Turbo Charger included in the box as well.
The Lenovo K8 Note comes in Venom Black and Fine Gold color options. Personally, I prefer the black color variant, it looks more chic. It has been priced at Rs. 12,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM option with 64GB storage. It will be available exclusively on Amazon.in starting August 18th at 12 noon.
